The National School Safety Conference

Members of iXero have recently returned from the National School Safety Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. In our booth were Jason (the iXero President), Scott (our CEO), Edwin (our Policy Director), Tommy (Public Information and Curriculum Design), and Gary (the owner of our trusted partner company, APT .RED). Also, in attendance to the conference was the owner of Bluelight LLC, another of our trusted partner companies.

Over the first two days, we made a lot of contacts from school districts, private schools, and law enforcement. We look forward to exploring the way forward in helping the organizations these wonderful people represent.

On the third day, Jason and Scott enjoyed great attendance during our breakout session in which they talked about creating a holistic program that addresses scholastic security from all angles. The breakout session was followed by sidebar discussions with several attendees and closed to very positive feedback.

Independence Day

Today, we are happy and proud to celebrate our Independence Day. With only 243 years of life, our country has accomplished so very much in its very young existance. And we would like to take a moment to thank the myriad people who have made the United States of America the amazing place that it is.

At iXero, we are mostly highly experienced law enforcement professionals and military veterans. We are proud to have taken an active part in helping preserve our nation. But we are part of a much larger whole. For those hundreds of years, our military has fought and sacrificed to establish and maintain our independence, and our law enforcement professionals have given all they have to make sure our country is a safe place worth living in. So we want to say thank you to those who, when the wolf is at the door, have gone out to face the wolf, fought it with all their might, and dragged it away to keep those we hold most dear safe.

Our firemen, paramedics, and EMTs who rush into the worst and most dangerous situations to preserve lives help greatly to keep our country stable and prosperous in perpetuity. Without them, there is no telling what would have been lost, and how far we could have fallen as a country. So thank you to the first responders that keep us stable and afloat during stormy and turbulent times.

And as we look forward to our future, we must recognize the contributions of those who teach our children. Thank you for, without bias and agenda, teaching them to think for themselves to develop innovative new ideas and effective solutions for existing and emerging needs. While the martial personnel mentioned establish and maintain stability for the now, you teachers establish stability and prosperity for the future.

And finally, we want to thank all of the citizens of our great country, of whom we are proud to be a part of. Your bold and brave ideas and actions, your innovation and drive, your ability to face adversity and struggle and triumph are the great and priceless assets of our country that always sees us rising above and leading into the future.

Have a happy Independence Day.

Today, Peace Officers' Memorial Day, we offer our heartfelt thanks to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the name of protecting us.

We ask that you take a moment today to remember those brave men and women of the Peace Officer community who continue to serve our communities in memoriam. Thank you for your service. Thank you for your sacrifice.

iXero's Facility Design Expert Inspects the CSOC Construction

Gary Lane, the mastermind behind the CSOC design, visited the Campus Security Operations Center at the Beverly Hills Unified School District earlier this week to inspect the progress on the build. During his visit, Gary inspected the hardening of the room against unauthorized entry, framing of the interior walls, and locations for new power and information connections.

When complete, the Campus Security Operations Center will be the first facility of its kind ever designed for a scholastic environment. It will bring together computer and human analysis to predict emerging threats so they can be stopped before anyone can be hurt.

Gary Lane discusses a server housing to be used for the CSOC with a construction contractor at the Beverly Hills Unified School District.

CSOC components delivered to the Beverly Hills Unified School District

After months of careful assessment, analysis, and planning, the components to build Beverly Hills Unified School District Campus Security Operations Center were delivered on February 6th. Once assembled into a fully functioning CSOC, the data processing equipment, monitoring equipment, and furniture will allow BHUSD analysts to assume their duties in predicting and preventing threats before they can affect the students, teachers, and administrators of the school district. Working with iXero, the BHUSD has embraced an increased safety and security posture that starts with the CSOC and goes onto responsive relationships with local first responders to both increase the district’s ability to prevent threats and to react to other emergencies with agility and speed.
